2. Where are you based?
We operate in various beautiful outdoor locations, with our heart in Eryri
(Snowdonia), where we run the majority of our experiences.
3. Who can take part in your activities?
Our programmes are designed for all ages—from young children to adults and
corporate groups. We also offer inclusive and sensory-friendly sessions for
neurodiverse individuals.

5. Do I need any prior experience to join?
No experience is necessary! Whether you’re a beginner or an outdoor enthusiast,
our sessions are designed to be accessible, engaging, and tailored to different
skill levels.
6. What should I bring?
We recommend dressing for the weather—sturdy footwear, waterproofs, and
layers. For some sessions, we may provide a list of suggested items (e.g., camping
gear for bushcraft weekends).

facilitators, and we follow strict safety procedures, including risk assessments
and first aid preparedness.

8. What is Forest School?

hands-on activities.
9. What happens during a wellbeing retreat?

You’ll learn practical survival skills like fire-lighting, shelter-building, foraging,

11. Are your activities insured?
Yes, Caru Coed has full public liability insurance to cover all activities. Safety is
a priority, and we conduct thorough risk assessments for every session.
12. Can I bring alcohol to an event?
For safety reasons, alcohol is not permitted during our sessions, especially those
involving bushcraft, fire use, and physical activities. Some private wellbeing
retreats may allow responsible alcohol consumption—please check in advance.
13. Do you cook with meat in your sessions?
Yes, some outdoor cooking sessions involve meat, but we always prepare and
cook it separately from plant-based foods to respect dietary choices. Let us know
your dietary requirements, and we’ll ensure there’s something for everyone.
